Newtown Condo Project Planned For 178 Homes By Toll Brothers
Condo sales in Connecticut may not be doing well compared to resale of single family homes, but that isn’t stopping Toll Brothers, one of the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, to announce the construction of 178-resort-style project in Newtown.
Toll Brothers recently purchased The Woods at Newtown on Route 25 between exits 8 and 9 off I-84.
Now under the new name Newtown Woods, by the Active Living brand of Toll Brothers, the community will feature 178 homes with resort-style amenities and it is scheduled to open for sale on June 1st. Call 203-364-9900 today to be added to our VIP list for the latest news and events happening at Newtown Woods.
“Toll Brothers has received site plan approval from the Town of Newtown for a new mix of single-level condominiums and townhomes with first-floor master suites in this new active-adult community for those 55 and better. All of the homes, including the condominiums, will have private attached garages. All of the home designs will have 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and select designs will also offer a powder room and a study or den. Each will feature hardwood floors, granite countertops, extensive trim work, and other high-end materials,” Toll Brothers said.
“Prices will start in the low $300,000s, and multiple floorplans will be offered. Toll Brothers intends to build decorated model homes of both the townhomes and the condominiums on-site.“
Homeowners will have access to the community’s resort-style amenities including a 5,000 square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, a yoga studio, locker rooms, saunas, a billiard room with bar, a teaching kitchen, an art studio and classroom, a swimming pool with sundeck, and bocce courts.
“Toll Brothers has had a successful track record, and has sold more than 1600 homes across the State of Connecticut,” Linda Richey, sales manager, said.
Toll Brothers will be using the existing sales center located at 176 Mount Pleasant Road (Route 25). To learn more about Toll Brothers’ newest community in Newtown, CT visit NewtownWoods.com or call 203-364-9900.
